Understanding the transformative role of a SAFe Agilist
The Leading SAFe training provides participants with the understanding of how the principles and practices of the framework support Lean Thinking, Agile Development, Agile Release Train, Agile Portfolio Management, Agile Architecture, and Scaling Leadership. Will gain the knowledge necessary for leading the agile transformation, and insight into the leadership skills that are most effective in motivating software developers, and putting these skills to practical use.
The goal of the course is to train participants to become Certified SAFe Agilists, enhance their Lean-Agile leadership skills and learn how to support a Lean-Agile transformation in their organization using the underlying principles of flexibility, lean thinking and product development.
Gaining the necessary Knowledge and Skills
This training will equip participants with the needed theoretical knowledge that will help them infuse Agile through the entire organization. Additionally, they will try to solve real-life problems that organizations face during the Agile transformation. They will to know how to encourage collaboration across all teams and layers of the organization to enable the delivery of complex cross-functional solutions in 10-12 week increments. Furthermore, they will learn how to create Agile Release Trains that will align the efforts of both Agile and non-Agile teams to create greater value. Participants will be applying Lean-Agile mindset and principles.
Audience best suited for Leading SAFe certification:
Leading SAFe is course that is open for everyone interested to learn about scaling Agile across the enterprise and how basic Agile principles and best practices can be used and applied to improve the solution and value delivery processes.
However, it is recommended that participants who intend to take the SAFe Agilist certification exam have:
- at least a 5-year experience in software development, testing, business analysis, and product and project management
- understanding of Agile and experience working in Scrum
